DRAFT IDP FOR 2020 – 2021

Notice is hereby given that the Honourable Executive Mayor, Cllr P.J. Phooko tabled the Draft Integrated Development Plan for review for 2020-2021 at a Council meeting held on 27 May 2020. The exercise was aimed at opening the process for the public to make comments, inputs and objections, if any, on the Draft Integrated Development Plan for review before it is finally considered by Council for adoption, or is rejected, by probably the end of June 2020

The exercise is intended to comply with the provision of Section 34(a)(i)(ii) and (b) of Local Government: Municipal Systems Act, Act 32 of 2000 In order to comply with provision of Municipal Planning and Performance Management Regulation Gazette No 7146 kindly be informed that proposal for amendment has been made on, but not limited to the following items, of which your comments are invited. <<see more information>>

Comments on Anual Report

Notice is hereby given that the Anual Report 2018/19 has been compiled and available for comments. Comments can be fowarded to the municipalityon the following email addresses: eunicel@moqhaka.gov.za or mms@moqhaka.gov.za or submitteted to the office of municipal Manager at Hill street offices

copies of the anual report are available on the municipal website and the following offices:

  1. Hill street office
  2. Maokeng Municipal offices
  3. Brentpark Municipal offices
  4. Steynsrus and Matlwangtlwang Municipal offices
  5. Viljoenskroon and Rammolutsi Municipal offices

Comments should be received on or before 31 March 2020

Public Notice of 60:40 Collection

Notice is hereby given that the Moqhaka Local Municipality will be bringing into operation the debt collection module on the new prepaid electricity system that is in operation. This is in line with section 15 (3) of the municipality’s Debt and Credit Control Policy
